Freight train derailed in Marks Tey Print E-mail

A Freightliner has de-railed at Marks Tey on the Down Mainline at approximately 1525.

The de-railed train currently sits at the London-side of Chitts Hill level crossing.

1 axle of the rear bogie on the 10th wagon is confirmed as de-railed on a 12 wagon train.

Network Rail said they were taken to hospital after an accident occurred at about 1400 BST.

The injured men fell after their unspecified equipment failed, British Transport Police said.
